Parent Partnership
- Key Person - Each child will be allocated a member of staff known as their ‘key person’. The ‘key person’ will have knowledge and understanding on how children learn and develop and will have the unique understanding of what your child’s current interests and needs are. This is to give you the confidence to leave your child, knowing they will be cared for in a way that has been tailored to the information you've given us.
- Learning Journey - Every day at nursery is another step on your child’s learning journey. Development captured from home and nursery will be placed in a ‘Leaning Journey’; this will be yours to keep when your child leaves the setting.
- Parent Partner Group - At Tower Hill Nursery we have a ‘Parent Partner Group’ where parents can become actively involved in the development and changes to the setting. The group also encourages good communication between parents. Members of the group also help with fundraising events and can provide support to other parents when their child starts.
- Newsletters - Newsletters are available each term by paper copy or email. Tower Hill Newsletter keeps parents up to date with topics such as the curriculum, special events and changes to the environment.
- Questionnaires/Consultations - Parents are encouraged to complete all questionnaires or consultation forms sent home, to ensure everyone has a voice and contribute to the development of all aspects of the nursery.
- Child review meetings - Review meetings take place once every term. Parents are invited into nursery during the day at a time convenient for them and nursery. The meeting is to allow a two-way conversation between the parents and key person, where they discuss the child’s current development and what’s next in nursery and at home.
- Safeguarding - Tower Hill Nursery takes safeguarding serious. A child’s safety and well being are paramount and will be the centre of all that we do. We have implemented a wide range of safety precautions including CCTV.
