Pre-School Room

 Pre-school childcare

Pre-school education is considered vital to a child’s development and preparation for later life. Tower Hill Nursery offers exceptional pre-school childcare to children aged 3-5 years and aspire to provide all children with a quality care and play-based early education to help
develop their self-esteem and motivation. Children start in pre-school the September after their 3rd Birthday. Contact our nursery in Great Barr, Birmingham for more information.

Learning through play

Children's cognitive development is at its greatest during their first 5 years of life. Tower Hill Nursery champion play and recognise that children are active learners. We provide opportunities to explore, investigate, experiment, talk, listen and create. We prioritise children's happiness and build our curriculum around their interests. We aspire to provide all children with a quality care and play-based early education to help develop their self-esteem and motivation.

Funded nursery places

Children 3 and over will be entitled to 15 hours Early Years Educational Entitlement funding per week during term time only. This begins from the start of the term after their 3rd Birthday (that is, from September, January or April). Some 3-year olds are also entitled to an additional 15 hours, allowing them to access 30 hours extended provision (criteria apply).

Please note: Tower Hill Nursery will aim to offer you a funded space, but unfortunately cannot guarantee availability.

Although this is often referred to as ‘free childcare’ you may still be eligible for nursery fees. Please contact us should you have any questions or would like further details to discuss exactly how the funding will work for you.
