Toddlers

Funded Childcare

Once your child reaches 2 years you could be entitled  to funded childcare of 15 hours a week during term times. The Early Years Educational Entitlement is applicable from the start of the first term after their 2nd birthday (September, January or April) and certain criteria must be met in order to receive the free childcare from 2 years. Please note, some nursery fees, such as food, may still be required. Contact Tower Hill Nursery in Great Barr, Birmingham for more information.

Developing independence

2 & 3 years of age is a stage in every child's development where they start to become increasingly independent. Your child needs the opportunity to grow and explore the
world around them, while discovering their own capabilities. At Tower Hill Nursery, our enticing environment, curriculum and experienced staff will help your child to learn, grow and develop their confidence.

Creative and exploratory play

Your child needs the opportunity to learn more about themselves and the world around them. At Tower Hill Nursery, our provision for children 2 and 3 years of age is exceptional. We have a large open-plan facility, with an area designed exclusively for creative and messy play. Let your child experience creativity without you worrying about drips or spills. The room is divided into two groups: two year olds and the 3 year olds. Each group has a named senior who will take the lead on planning for the individual child. Our curriculum meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
